1.9. Document Organization
The remainder of this document is organized as follows: Chapter 1 defines and explains the field of action of the Ciencia de la Computación , in addition to providing a very brief explanation of the different programs related to this discipline. In the particular case of the area of computing, the proposals from ACM/IEEE-CS Computing Curricula (ACM/IEEE-CS, 2020).
In Chapter 2, we present the Knowledge Areas of Computer Science, indicating the topics and learning objectives of each subject,
In Chapter 3, we present the Knowledge Areas of Basic Sciences for Computing, indicating the topics and learning objectives of each subject,
Chapter 4 contains the distribution by semesters, by areas, by levels, graphical view of the curriculum, comparison with various international proposals, distribution of topics per course, as well as the distribution of skills per subject.
Chapter 5 contains detailed information for each of the courses, including the skills to which it contributes, bibliography per unit, as well as the minimum number of hours per unit.
In Chapter 6 we can observe a list of courses by professor and of professor by course.
In Chapter 7, the equivalence tables with other curricula are presented.
In Chapter 8, a suggestion of the laboratories required for teaching classes is presented, which could vary depending on the number of students.
