Our graduate can offer their professional services in both public and private companies and institutions that require their capabilities for the offered development, including:

  • Companies dedicated to the production of internationally quality software.
  • Companies, institutions, and organizations that require quality software to improve their activities and/or offered services.

Our graduate can perform well in the job market without any problem because, in general, the market and occupational field demand is more oriented towards the use of tools. However, it is uncommon for professionals in this field to ask themselves: "What kind of training should I have if I want to create these tools as well as know how to use them?" Both profiles (user and creator) are quite different because it would not be possible to use something that has not yet been created. In other words, the creators of technology are the ones who create new jobs and open the possibility for others to use that technology.

Due to the research-based education, our professional must always be an innovator in their workplace. This same education allows the graduate to also consider creating their own software development company. Considering that countries like ours have a much lower cost of living than North America or Europe, an interesting possibility is exporting software, but that requires the product's quality to be at the same level as offered internationally.

This professional profile also allows our graduates to stay in our country; producing software in our country and selling it abroad is more profitable than going abroad and commercializing it there.

The occupational field for a graduate is vast and continually expanding and changing. Virtually every company or organization makes use of some type of computing services, and the good basic training of our graduates allows them to successfully meet their requirements. This graduate not only can provide solutions to existing problems but must also propose technological innovations that drive the company towards constant progress.

As the basic computerization of the country's companies advances, the need for trained individuals to solve more complex problems increases, and the curriculum we have developed aims to meet this demand in the medium and long term. The field for research and development of complex computer problems is also very broad and growing day by day worldwide.

Due to the innovative capacity of our graduate, there is a higher probability of registering patents with a high inventive level, which is especially important in our countries.
